Agiltron, Inc. announces the general availability of a new series of high-speed fiber optical switches, setting a new industry performance standard in low insertion loss and fast switching speed up to 1MHz, as well as wide temperature operation range from -30 to 90 °C. The wide temperature operation is achieved through a passive compensation scheme that is well suited for outdoor, aerospace, and automobile applications. This series of switches is available in PM, short and long wavelength, and high power, as well as variable splitter and variable attenuation/modulator configurations.
